GDAŃSK-SOPOT-GDYNIA

Our tour proposal is a trip from Chojnice to Trójmiasto -aglomeration of three cities: Gdańsk, Sopot and Gdynia.

Option 1: Chojnice - Brusy - Kościerzyna - Trójmiasto (Gdańsk, Sopot, Gdynia)

(Route length: 122 km, travel time without stops: 1h 45min)

Chojnice: Route start

Brusy: All Saints' Church (kościół Wszystkich Świętych) - built in 1879.

Leśno (off the route):Undoubtedly one of the most interesting villages near Brusy. Leśno

lies 9 km away, northwest from Brusy. In Leśno worth seeing are: wooden church from 1710 and stone circles and barrows, discovered several years ago south from the village.

Szymbark (off the route): Village that lies at the foot of Wieżyca mountain. It is an exceptional Kashubian

village, in which one can find the world's longest wooden board, a hut of Polish exiles from Siberia from 19th century (The Siberian House) and the real deal - The Upside Down House - The Centre for Education and Regional Promotion.

Gdańsk: Due to its history the city can easily be called a real legend. The Old Town situated in the centre of Gdańsk shared fate similar to this of the Warsaw Old Town - in 1945 80% of it was destroyed and later rebuilt, so that one can enjoy it today as well as the charm of many other exceptional sights of Gdańsk. Worth seeing in Gdańsk: The Golden Gate (Złota Brama) and manor of St. George Fraternity Długa street and Długi Targ, the city hall, The Artus Court and Sień Gdańska house, Neptune fountain, Złota Kamienica (Golden Tenement House), Żuraw (Crane Gate), Mariacka street, Mariacka Basillica, Kościół św. Katarzyny (St. Catherine's Church), Westerplatte, Twierdza Gdańska (Gdańsk Stronghold), Zoo in Oliwa.

Sopot: since the end of 19th century Sopot has always been one of the most popular health resorts in Europe and it keeps atracting many abroad tourists. Worth seeing in Sopot: Pier, the beach, City of Sopot Museum, Krzywy Domek (curved house), Grand Hotel, boardwalk, art nouveau villas, Leśna Opera.

Gdynia: The youngest and quickest to develop part of Trójmiasto. Worth seeing in Gdynia: Skwer Kościuszki (Kościuszki square) and Południowe pier, "Dar Pomorza" - the most famous Polish training sailing ship, Museum/Ship ORP "Błyskawica", Akwarium Morskie (Sea Aquarium), Muzeum Marynarki Wojennej (Navy Museum), Orłowo, dendrological garden in Kolibki.
 

Option 2: Chojnice – Czersk – Starogard Gdański – Trójmiasto (Gdańsk, Sopot, Gdynia)

(Route length: 130 km, travel time without stops: 1h 30min)

Chojnice:Route start

Czersk: This town lies in the eastern part of Chojnice county, at the border between Kashubia, Kociewie and Bory Tucholskie. Worth seeing in Czersk: Neogothic church, tenement houses and a city hall between them.

Fojutowo (off the route): This small settlement in the middle of the forest can be achieved by a road leading west from route Czersk - Tuchola. One can find there a crossing of two watercourses - Channel of Brda and Czerska Struga. The waters of Grand Brda Channel flow over Czerska Struga through the biggest Polish aqueduct, that is 75 m long. Nearby there're also a restaurant, a hotel and an observation tower.
